I mentioned in Friday’s post that I was packing my bags and leaving Australian mainland for the first time since my arrival nearly 2 1/2 years ago.
I gave you some clues regarding my destination and one reader, John, had a stab at Fraser Island.

So where is here?
Well, we made a long weekend of it and we only just got back a short while ago; it’s now nearly 9 o’clock on Monday evening. I took lots of video footage and hopefully I’ve captured some good stuff, so what I’d really like to do is edit that into a movie.
Can you wait until tomorrow? Great! I’ll tell you all about it then.
John, your second guess is a good un, it was Straddie.
Kaven, your first guess was close, can’t be more than 15 kms between the two. Moreton Island is on my list to do, especially after how much we enjoyed Stradbroke.

Bob I have a guess, Looks alot like a photo I took at a lighthouse on Moreton Island in 2006. We went to Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort.
Guess two……North Stradbroke Island. Guess three…..Moreton Island. Could it be third time lucky ?
