It was quite some time ago when I went to Adelaide for a one-week break, just over five years in fact. I only wrote one post about it, called At Last; A Hot and Sunny Day in Australia. Yes, it was a bit of a strange title, but I did go there just after the Brisbane floods, so we’d had months and months of rain here around Queensland.
In Adelaide though, it certainly was sunny.

I really liked Adelaide, so today I decided to go back for another look. Not in reality though, just virtually, thanks to YouTube.
As you probably know, I do like a good timelapse video. I recently added a great one taken in Midwest Australia. I also really like a good flyover video, taken by a drone. I was lucky enough to find three fantastic drone videos taken over the jawdroppingly beautiful Tweed Coast on Northern New South Wales. Both these kinds of video are a great way to check out a city or an area.
So, I wanted to show you around Adelaide, but should it be a timelapse or a drone?
Why not both?
First, a timelapse…
Now, let’s take to the skies around Adelaide…
Adelaide is certainly worth more than one post and one visit. I will be going again one day, for real though, not through YouTube.
When you do, Ill buy you a pint 🙂
That would be lovely, thank you 🙂
