Queensland: The New Cultural Hub of Australia

Well, not quite yet.

A few days ago Queensland’s Premier Campbell Newman along with Arts Minister Ian Walker unveiled their master plan to turn South Bank into entertainment precinct which is the envy of the rest of Australia.

It’s already pretty good…

South Bank BeachOver the next 20 years the plan is to make it even better. “We want to make what’s great about Queensland even better, and the economic advantages of a booming cultural precinct will be felt by all Queenslanders.” Mr Newman said.

Here’s more…

I’m sure Sydney and Melbourne will have something to say about that. Talking of Sydney, they have plans too. Plans to grow bigger and taller…

      Hi Chris

Wow! And so starts a big adventure for you and your family, I hope you enjoy the ride is much as me and my family have. Yes, you are taking a bit of a risk, but I think it’s one that will pay off handsomely for you, I hope so anyway.

Exciting and challenging times ahead, the first few months can be quite a test, even more so for you as you will be without your family. Keep pushing forward though and it will all fall into place.

Good luck, and do let us know how things turn out.

      Cheers, Bob
