We are now drawing to the end of what has been a shocking week here in Australia. Maybe even the worst week in Australian history. It is just past 7 pm here on Friday evening and the weekend starts just about now.
Here, weekends are normally all about fun. Time to take the speedboat out of the garage. Or to put the jet ski on the trailer. Perhaps take the motorbike out for a spin or just jump in the car and head for the beach. Many will simply invite some friends round and fire up the BBQ.
Somehow I don’t think this weekend will be as much fun as most weekends here normally are.
