Take a Ride Along The Great Ocean Road

by BobinOz on February 2, 2009

When we left Melbourne it was 35°c. We drove for six hours and when we got out at the end of our journey, it was 17°c. In old English, that’s a drop from about 95°f down to 62°f.

We were heading for Warrnambool, which is pretty much at the end of the Great Ocean Road. We had decided to stay there for 3 nights so we could enjoy some relaxing beach time. I was trying to work out how relaxing a beach could be at such low temperatures. Then I remembered Southend seaside. I used to go as a child. Not relaxing at all.

You can pretty much “feel” the temperature drop in this video. This is, without doubt, the most stunning 6 hours of driving I have ever done. But it will only take you 4 minutes and 41 seconds.

Enough waffle. This is the Great Ocean Road…..

Hi James

It seems to be working now, I think it may have been a YouTube problem. Give it another go, hopefully it will be okay.
