Our Dream Australian Road Trip

by BobinOz on August 20, 2009

You may recall a couple of weeks ago we had our first guest blog here posted by Sami, a fellow blogger and author of Life, Laughs and Lemmings. I commented to Sami at the time that “I owe you one”.

Today, I pay up.

Sami’s blog, is about the life, laughs and…err.. (little fluffy rodents with a tendency to jump over cliffs aside) – living the dream. For me and my family, moving to Australia is a dream. And we are living it!

And we lived our dream in a very big way at the beginning of this year, when we went on our Australian road trip. To read more about three of the most exhilarating weeks of our lives, head over to Life, Laughs and Lemmings and to check out my new post “Our Dream Australian Road Trip”.

Whilst over at Sami’s blog, you might also find out what it’s really like for a true home born Aussie gal living in Australia, as opposed to the views of a Pommie bloke who’s only been here “five minutes”.

I really should stop reading your blogs, they make me so jealous, but still hopefully shouldnt be too long before my wife an I get there ourselves.

We did the Great Ocean Road, and stayed at Warrnambool for the night, lovely lovely place. Kinda makes you wonder why their’s anyone left in England, certainly beats the M25 and M1 thats for sure anyway!

Have you got another trip planned soon?

Stop reading? No! Just get out here as soon as you can.

Yes, all that area around Warrnambool was great. Once you experience the roads round here, you’d never want to be on the M25 again.

No trips planned yet, but there will be, and I’ll be going north.

You go for it Aviram, travelling Australia by motorbike would be the trip of a lifetime. If you haven’t yet seen it, check out my video where I drive from Melbourne to Brisbane in three minutes. You will love the roads!
