This is another one of my “I’m not here” posts. When this post goes live online automatically, thanks to the wonders of WordPress scheduling, I’ll be two hours away. This morning I packed all of the essentials into the car.
Tinnies, wine, sunglasses, shorts, mp3 player, headphones and thongs. Thongs may or may not be referred to as flip-flops where you live. With the car all packed, we set the sat nav and headed north. So by the time you get to read this, my views will look something like…
Four families, that’s eight adults, seven kids and one big house close to the seaside. Should be fun.
The weather has not been too bad lately, the mercury has been hitting around 26°C – 27°C this week and it’s been mostly sunny with clear blue skies. Let’s hope the weather holds for the weekend.
So, unusually, no video this Friday, but hopefully I’ll have one for you on Monday when I get to tell you all about our Sunshine Coast weekend.

We just wanted to tell you how much we are enjoying your blog. You give a lot of useful and fun information. My husband and I are in the process of obtaining our visa and will hopefully be moving to Oz in the next year or two. I have been dreaming of this since I was 10 years old (am now almost 35 :o)
