It all started in December 2005. We were on our third holiday to Australia, visiting my wife's brother and his family. They had emigrated here in November of 2000.
We had enjoyed our previous two holidays here but we never really fell in love with the place. Until this time.
But the difference with this holiday was that we had brought someone else along with us. Our new daughter. Actually, she had come along with us before. When she was four months old. So although we think she enjoyed herself, she didn't really say much about it.
But on this visit, she was 18 months old. She loved it here. It was then that my wife and I decided that for her future, Australia was the place to be.
So in January 2006 we started the process of emigrating to Australia. On November the 14th, 2007 at around 6.30 am we landed at Brisbane International airport to start our new life in Australia.
